People gathered around a cafe that was targeted just meters away from the Bataclan theatre, to hold a miutes silence of remembrance.
  • French President Francois Hollande and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo unveiled commemorative plaques at every location that was a target during the terror attacks — from the national stadium to the terraces of cafes and restaurants and the Bataclan theatre.

Magnum photographer Patrick Zachmann was the first press reporter to film the scene of the Paris attacks of November 13, 2015. Following his intuition and the noise of sirens through Paris, riding his scooter through ambulances and emergency response services, he arrived at the Bataclan just as the police began to fire shots. #13novembre2015 #prayforparis #prayfortheworld #1an #parisattacks

RIP to all those who have lost their lives last year.

The world will never forget you, they will also never forget why these people act out in terrorism. The world must unite to diminish such acts and save the lives of the innocent.
