Slimming World Blog – Week 2

Day 1:

Breakfast: Bacon with beans –  still loving a cooked breakfast, going to be a shame when I go back to university. I also had a bowl of melon afterwards to keep on top of my Speed Food!

Lunch: Noodles with bacon, pepper and mushroom, for once this was a strange lunch because I actually couldn’t eat all of it!

Dinner: I cooked tonight and had noodles again, I really enjoyed my dinner so I decided to make it for mum! We had Noodles with Chicken, pepper, onion, mushrooms, garlic and soy sauce – Probably my favourite meal so far! (picture)

Day 2:

Breakfast: A piece of white toast, with butter and a bowl of strawberries on the side! A quick breakfast because I was at work, but I did manage to have my speed food with isw3t!

Lunch: Tuna pasta salad from the Slimming world free menu at Iceland! And oh wow it was so nice, especially when all I felt like having at work was fast food… Such an enjoyable meal! (picture)

Dinner: Spaghetti carbonara… this could become Mum’s speciality – it was lovely! The sauce was only one syn and we had loads of peppers and onion with it!

 

 

 

Day 3:

Breakfast: Bacon butty… Only I had wholemeal bread as part of my HEX B along with my speed food – mushrooms. And I’ve been able to have cranberry juice light, because it is only 1 syn for a glass.

Lunch: Homemade soup, all free and full of vegetables. And funnily enough it filled me right up!

Dinner: Beef goulash, with rice and extra veg! Mum had cooked it earlier in the day and it was lovely!

Day 4:

Breakfast: I had bacon, along with a big bowl of speed food! I think I’m becoming less reliant on bread for breakfast. Or we shall see!

Lunch: Homemade soup – such a filling meal and totally free and full of veg!

Dinner: Shepard’s Pie, to be honest this is the easiest meal to have more than a third of a plate of Speed Food. We had carrots, cabbage, onions and broccoli, and it was the most enjoyable meal I’ve had on slimming world because I didn’t feel like I was eating extra veg!

Day 5:sw1

Breakfast: Another breakfast with bacon, along with mushrooms. To be honest I think I need to change up my breakfast options, it’s getting pretty boring!!

Lunch: Thai style salad and noodles, this meal is part of the slimming world free range available. It is a great meal for when I’m out and about or at university!

Dinner: Stir Fry with chicken, Oh Wow! This meal was incredible, the noodles are free, the chicken and veg are also free and the sauce is only half a syn for each portion!

Day 6:

Breakfast: Bacon with Wholemeal bread…. Wow are my breakfast boring or what?! However, I did have melon afterwards as my speed food for this meal! One of things I will focus on next week is not eating as many carbs!

Lunch: Chicken legs x3 with tomato and cucumber, it was a nice lunch with something different!

Dinner: Spaghetti Bolognese with low fat minced beef, we added extra pepper and onion as speed food and made the sauce from scratch to make it free!

Day 7:

Breakfast: Bacon butty, yes today I caved and had white bread, but I am moving on and losw2oking toward next week’s breakfast!

Lunch: Chicken Legs with salad and cucumber, I added a bit of sweet chilli sauce for half a syn.

Dinner: Fish with slimming world, homemade chips and salad, tomato and cucumber.

 

 

 

Weigh in: loss of 1 and a half lbs.

So it wasn’t a great week, but I am determined to lose more next week!!!!
